Description

MixVibes DVS PRO is based on digital vinyl technology which gives you the ability to mix your digital music on a traditional turntable and mixer configuration. The high quality time coded Vinyl and CDs included in the pack give you real time control over the music. It feels just like spinning with your regular records or CD. This feature packed DVS PRO version contains all creative potential and incredible performances necessary for a professional level DJ performance.

DVS Pro Hardware

> No special hardware needed
Mixvibes DVS is the ONLY product, that allows you to DIRECTLY plug your vinyl turntable(s) (like Technics SL1200 MkII) or CD player(s) into any sound card with a stereo LINE input. NO RIAA preamp or external "boxes" are needed !

> Compatible with all sound cards
MixVibes DVS works with ALL SOUND CARDS, latency is the only thing that will be affected by your choice of sound card. If your main use for DVS will be scratching, a good sound card (ASIO) is advised.
MixVibes DVS supports many kinds of sound configurations: pci, integrated motherboard, usb or firewire sound cards and even multichannel sound cards (5.1..).

> Low latency
MixVibes supports ASIO sound cards and exclusive ASIO emulation (kernel driver) allowing lowest latency with ALL SOUND CARDS! The latency will depend on your sound card and system configuration (and can drop to 1.5ms).

> No drifting
The NDS (never drifting system) assures that your cue point for scratching will never move. While a mix, it assures NO DRIFTING in bad conditions (vinyl scratches, instant low resources, rumble...).

Detailed Description

Instead of music, DVS vinyl (included with the DVS pack) contains a TIMECODED signal. So your computer can make realtime analysis to track the motion of the record, simulating the same movement with the digital file.
The Vinyl timecode has more than 1000 frames per second for accurate positioning and the CD timecode will have more than 3000 frames per second.

Thanks to high quality software RIAA correction, you don't need a RIAA preamp, or "special boxes" ...

The DVS package includes three special vinyl records and the MixVibes DVS software. You only need it to control your digital audio files with turntables or cd players.

DVS is the only product using an exclusive optimised CD timecode, allowing extremely accurate positioning. You only need to burn it on a CD-R or CD-RW.
