Beautifully crafted from carbon fibre (the same material found on formula one cars) the cabinet has no audible resonance frequency. Shaped with rounded edges, curving round to a point at the back and mounted on specially crafted speaker stands, they look beautiful. This design projects the sound accurately into the space, the removed resonant frequency makes the sound come from outside the speaker and not within the speaker (like heard with traditional wooden, square shaped cabinets). XSPAT is an external DSP box that connects via Firewire to the computer and via ADAT for sound processing. The box uses MIDI messages to alter parameters that position sound (up to 7.1 surround) in a 3D space. The software uses physco acoustic effects, phase relation and amplitude to produce the desired location.

IMEASY let's you position sound in any 3D space using trajectories derived form video footage.

SEE N SOUND is software that let’s you position sound synchronised to a movie frame by frame. Its clever interface that uses a circle placed on the movie screen, with a maximum of eight. The size of the circle represents the distance from the listening position and the position of the circle represents its placement in the listening zone. Using Sequoia, Samplitude or any other production software, MIDI messages used to manipulate the parameters, can be recorded. Thus you can have a powerful surround sound manipulation, synched to a movie in any pro-audio production package. Once you have a finished result the processed audio can be bounced to a file.
