CYCLING '74 ANNOUNCES PLUGGO 3.1 FOR MAC OSX
Popular Plug-in Bundle updated to Include Support for Audio Units
Cycling ’74
have announced the release of Pluggo 3.1, the latest version of their popular
native audio processing plug-in suite,
featuring OSX compatibility, support for multiple processors and adding
Audio Units to the list of plug-in formats.
The addition of
Audio Units to the existing VST and RTAS support will allow Pluggo to be used
in Logic Audio, MOTU Digital Performer 4, Apple Final Cut Pro and Soundtrack.
Pluggo consists
of over 100 creative and unusual real-time audio effects, including filtering,
delay effects, distortion, granular synthesis, audio routing, reverb and sound
localization. Also on offer are
the Essential Instruments collection, a set of immediately effective
synthesisers and samplers. Pluggo
allows modulation, synchronization, and audio/control routing between
plug-ins.
Pluggo 3.1
users who want to build their own plug-ins entirely from scratch can create
them using Cycling '74's Max/MSP software. Support for effects automation,
parameter management, presets, host synchronization, and undo is provided in
the development environment. The
Pluggo 3.1 format is the only way to develop a single plug-in that works in
RTAS, VST, and AU host environments.
A free runtime plug-in environment installer can be downloaded from the
Cycling '74 web site.
Pluggo 3.1 will
be shipping at the end of November, has a retail price of £160.11 inc VAT, and
is available as a free upgrade to registered Pluggo 3 owners.
