Magix Release New Audio Restoration Plug-in For Sequoia
Magix has released the Algorithmix® DeScratcher™ Pro plug-in for the Sequoia software. In an exclusive cooperation, Magix and restoration specialist Algorithmix have combined professional restoration software and advanced DSP technology know-how to produce the new DeScratcher pro audio plug-in, distributed in the UK by DACS Ltd.
The Algorithmix DeScratcher is a professional program for effectively de-clicking and de-crackling old vinyl and shellac records, as well as cleaning up audio recordings tainted by switching noise, digital crosstalk, or thyristor buzz. The DeClicking module removes severe clicks, whilst the DeCrackler module removes any remaining small clicks and crackles. In addition to this, the DeScratcher plug-in will effectively diminish any kind of distortion caused by signal overload or clipping. Since the CPU requirement for the De Scratcher plug-in is very low, the user can change and optimise all parameters in real-time.
