APG was founded in 1979 by Alain Pouillon-Guibert, an ESME engineer and an expert in electroacoustics. Since the beginning, the company has always manufactured speakers aimed at solving all types of sound system problems. They have a very simple strategy which was evolved from the goals they set themselves: the manufacture of durable products which reproduce the original sound with nothing added or taken away.

APG speakers stand out from conventional products because they are manufactured using experience gained over twenty years of working with professionals from the audio business and the management are continually updating their knowledge and improving their design and manufacturing abilities. APG’s team are fired by passion, which is what makes the products so successful.

Some APG models were landmarks in their time and due to their exceptional durability, they have become standards of the industry.

DACS have used APG speaker systems in many of our bar and nightclub installations, for we believe that they are in a class of their own within their field.
