We offer a wide range of knowledge and expertise gained through years of experience. We can measure sound pressure levels, advise on what these levels should be by law, provide acoustic solutions such as controlling sound pressure levels and the provision of ear protection for staff, provide design plans for sound proofing/control, predict sound wave behaviour and analyse a room's acoustics. All this information can be provided by us both verbally and as a full written report. 

Our acoustic consultant can be drafted in to advise architects on design plans and oversee construction to make sure buildings or rooms will be acoustically sound, whether this is so that traffic noise does not leak into a building or so the building, for example a night club, does not leak sound, breaking environmental laws. Whatever the reason, when acoustics are important we can help. 

Acoustic Treatment

We manufactures our own range of acoustic treatment panels (see above picture). We can also install and manufacture acoustic treatment to your specification. We can incorporate our treatments at the construction stage or they can be integrated into a finished room. 

Absorption is one aspect of acoustic treatment.  We can offer design, manufacture and installation of treatment which may comprise a range of absorbers, diffusers and reflectors. One example, was our design of the Bedson Lecture Theatre at Newcastle University where we used a range of reflectors and absorbers so that wherever you sit in the lecture theatre you can hear the lecture easily and clearly.
