Ltd Design and Build at Anglia Ruskin University.
Dacs first did work for Anglia Ruskin
University 18 months ago, when we were the only company they could find who
were able and willing to carry out the work exactly as requested. We are told we were awarded the contract
because we listened to their requests, where others suggested their own
alternatives.
Anglia Ruskin University, situated in the heart of leafy Cambridge, offer a
fantastic range of Audio technology and Creative music courses and we are
building a studio suite to enable their delivery. We are working within, what was a practice
room and a store cupboard, converting them into a recording space and control
room.
Within the recording space, we are building
an insulated live room that will double as a rehearsal facility, a small vocal
booth and a general recording space.
We're also providing tie-lines to the
concert hall, where we have worked before.
Each of the spaces will be acoustically
treated to provide optimum reverb times.
The DACS' team, who have worked together on
a number of projects such as this, have made it possible to achieve the design
and build in a very short period of time.
