"It sounds amazing and records really well. Can't wait to get started properly in it now!"
"I just checked a guitar amp cranked in the guitar booth - the level of isolation is absolutely extraordinary! It's almost silent in the main room. Just amazing, really"
Beetroot Studios started life as Petersburn Library. DACS Audio were were challenged with turning this old library building into a modern, professional recording studio in the heart of Airdrie, North Lanarkshire.
Beetroot Studios as a project that started in July 2017 when DACS headed north to Airdrie to do some acoustic testing in what was an old library building. The space itslef was quite large and covered 2 floors which would need to be utilised in the final design.

After funding was secured work formally began in May 2018 with the aim of stripping out the old shell of the building and getting it acoustically absorbed and fit for a professional recording studio.

After a couple of months the space began to really take shape with a live room overlooking the balcony and the spacious main room coming together.

The finished studio.
