Douglas Doherty was highly recommended to us by a retired professor of music who has a home in this area. The hall has been transformed from an echo chamber to an acoustically comfortable space. It has not been completely deadened and has been highly praised by all users.
Tucked away on the Slate Islands in Western Scotland, Seil Island offered a very community based project to help upgrade their Community Hall. The hall offered a wide range of activities for the local people including; choir, folk dance, badminton, yoga and drama. We needed to make a space that was both audibly sufficient but could also cope with the rigours of it being a sports centre.
